Welcome to Bromfield Park Alpacas our home of stud breeding services, for Suri and Huacaya Alpacas. Located on State Highway 1, north of Ashburton in Canterbury, South Island, we offer sales and services for Suri and Huacaya breeders, commercial farmers and pet owners. Alpacas make excellent pets for lifestyle blocks and are great with children, along with the benefit of being a very good source of premium natural fibre suitable for multiple uses. The luxurious fibre that the Suri produces is unique and second to none, and is of enormous appeal to manufacturers, spinners and weavers. With a fibre that is both fine and soft and has excellent thermal qualities it is renowned as the GREEN MINK of the world.

Alpacas work well cross grazing with any animal and are comparatively easy to care for. They are a joy to breed and a very interesting and unique animal.
